FAQs

What can I expect in therapy?

1

During your first session, I will get a fuller picture of your needs and goals. We will collaborate to identify what is best to work on first - no worries if you’re not sure what you need, but just feel “off”. That’s my job to guide you! Most clients are surprised that sessions don’t always require lots of talking, analyzing, or reliving a traumatic experiences. With the use of Brainspotting and somatic practices we can process and bring relief to stored trauma, anxiety, and other emotions without having to go through every detail. We will go slow to help you build trust with me and your body as we work to restore what’s been lost.

How often will we meet?

2

We will establish a rhythm and frequency of meeting depending on your specific needs. Most clients start with weekly appointments, and work towards bi-weekly or less frequent based on their needs and progress.

How much will therapy cost? Do you take insurance?

3

I understand therapy is a time and financial commitment.

I am currently in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield. If you have another insurance provider, I am able to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. Depending on your plan, your out-of-pocket cost may be comparable to your co-pay. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to check your out of network benefits.

If you choose not to bill through your insurance or are out of network, my out of pocket rate is $160 per 50 minute session and $170 per 60 minute (intake only).

You have the right to a “Good Faith Estimate” estimating your cost. For more information click here.
